Lily and Juniper

HOA landscapes managed by plant, soil, and season.

Every HOA landscape is a living system. We find out why a lawn, shrub, or bed is struggling, then fix the cause with a plan built on horticultural expertise, instead of repeating the same routine.

Who we serve, and what we do

We started with homeowners associations because a shared landscape needs a plan, a schedule, and one team accountable for it. We are growing from there.

The same tasks, done with horticultural judgment.

Most of the work on a property looks alike from the street. The difference is in the decisions behind each task.

TaskRoutine maintenanceHow we manage it
MowingOne height all season.2.5 to 3 inches in spring and fall to thicken turf, and 3.5 inches in summer to shade the soil and root deeper. We hold off mowing when turf is too wet.
PruningShear everything into shape on a schedule.Prune by species, growth habit, and bloom cycle. Red-twig dogwood, for example, has its thickest third cut to the ground so new red stems grow in.
FertilizingThe same product on the same dates.Soil test first. Product and rate follow the lab results and the growth goal, favoring slow-release nitrogen.
Weed controlBlanket spraying.A pre-emergent applied when soil reaches 45 degrees, another in September, and targeted spot treatment chosen for each weed species.
IrrigationTurn it on and look for leaks.Catch-cup testing measures what each zone actually delivers, then we adjust, document, and check plant health and water needs all season.
Fall cleanupCut everything back.Plants that give winter structure and habitat stay standing. Diseased, damaged, or unwanted material comes out.

We look for the cause, not just the symptom.

A browning lawn might be an irrigation problem, compacted soil, pests, disease, or a plant in the wrong place. We check the likely causes before we treat anything, so your association pays to fix the problem once instead of covering it up every season.

Each year you also get a written assessment of turf, trees and shrubs, beds, irrigation, and plant health, with every finding sorted into no action, routine correction, near-term, or long-term.

A full season of care, planned in writing.

Your proposal lays out every service, how often it happens, and when. Timing shifts with weather and plant growth, and the monthly payment stays the same.

Horticulture expertise, backed by a dedicated office team

Our plant care is led by horticultural expertise. When a lawn thins out or a shrub looks wrong, we work out why: soil, water, pests, or plain bad timing. Then we build the plan and train our crews to carry it out.

That includes plant-health evaluations, pruning strategy, and irrigation and water decisions.

Behind the crews, a dedicated operations team handles scheduling, billing, and communication, so every property stays on track and every question gets answered.

Lily and Juniper is based in Ogden, Utah, and serves the surrounding communities.
